Midtown Ala Moana is poised for further transformation with the announcement of Muse Honolulu, a new luxury condominium tower proposed for 1538 Kapiolani Blvd. Developed by JL Capital, fresh off the heels of their successful Sky Ala Moana, the project promises to bring high-end living to this rapidly developing neighborhood.

The architectural vision for Muse Honolulu comes from Bohlin Cywinski Jackson (BCJ), the renowned firm with studios in Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Pittsburgh, and Wilkes-Barre. Familiar with the Honolulu landscape, BCJ also designed Ae’o in Ward Village, located above Whole Foods Market. Muse Honolulu is expected to share a similar design aesthetic with Ae’o.

The proposed 400-foot tower will house 331 residential units atop a seven-story podium. The podium will feature six levels of residential and commercial parking, capped by a seventh-floor amenity deck. In lieu of on-site affordable housing, JL Capital will provide 101 off-site affordable rental units for families earning up to 100% of the area median income.

Muse Honolulu will offer a variety of living spaces, including two-story loft units and urban flat lofts with high ceilings. The project will also incorporate 9,000 square feet of commercial space.
